Delivery Policy – Solid Hoodie

Delivery Policy


*All orders are subject to your country's own laws and conditions for customs, duties and taxes.

1. Delivery Email Notifications

You will receive an email at the address you have specified when your order has been dispatched - this email contains the tracking number (if applicable) so you can track it online right on the courier's website.

2. Delivery Timeline

The delivery time scale is specified on the product page and product timeline page to indicate when you will receive your order. If placed after 4 pm, subject to passing necessary checks, your order will be shipped the following day (excluding Weekends and Holidays). 

Due to the nature of the hoodies which Solid Hoodie sell, Solid Hoodie operate a strict fraud screening process (e.g. it is being delivered to the billing address registered to the card, or it is being delivered to a known company, or you have used your card before and have no bad history).  In almost all cases, this is a straight forward process and can be completed easily.

If this is not the case (e.g. you specify an alternative residential address as the delivery location which resides in another county to the billing address) there may be a delay of a few hours while Solid Hoodie perform the appropriate checks. 

In the event of a delay, Solid Hoodie will contact you either by email or telephone to inform you of this. 

2.1 International deliveries

The delivery estimate on the product page does not necessarily apply for international deliveries. The delivery timescale is generally between 10 - 45 working days depending on your country's jurisdiction laws and customs holdings. Orders outside of the USA will have a delivery charge which is calculated in the checkout process after you select your country.

Orders over will be shipped via DHL Express/FedEx/UPS.

Please note that certain brands have shipping restrictions, and this is shown on the product page.

3. Missed deliveries

If you are not in to receive the delivery at the time the delivery is attempted, the delivery company will notify you of the missed delivery attempt.  This will allow you to either telephone them to arrange a redelivery at a more convenient time or collect it from your local sorting office. 

If for any reason the item is returned to us (e.g. incorrect address specified, item not called for), then Solid Hoodie will inform you immediately by email as soon as Solid Hoodie receives the item.  From this point forth, you will be given a choice whether you wish us to redespatch the item or for you to cancel the order.  Please note that for items that were undelivered through fault of the consumer and a refund is requested, Solid Hoodie reserve the right to deduct our shipping fees from the refund total.

4. Late deliveries

Although Solid Hoodieare able to ship almost every order in the specified delivery timescale, in rare circumstances our shipping capacity can be exceeded and cause a delay of one-five extra days.  Solid Hoodie regret that this situation can occur occasionally, and is an unfortunate situation which is naturally associated with buying online, however this only occurs in rare situations and, should this occur, your order is marked for urgent delivery the following day.

The other circumstance which may cause a delay is when the delivery service itself has a problem.  This, again, is a rare situation but is unfortunately beyond our control.  In these situations, Solid Hoodie will do the very best to take responsibility for the situation and ensure that your order is delivered as quickly as possible.

4.1 Consequential loss for late deliveries

If a delivery is late, e.g. the freight service fails to deliver within the guaranteed timescale, then Solid Hoodie will follow up with your order to ensure that your order is delivered as quickly as possible.

5. Delivery to business addresses

Solid Hoodie allow delivery to alternate delivery addresses including business addresses and places of work. If you do specify a business address for delivery, please ensure that there will be someone available during normal working hours e.g. at reception who can sign for delivery on your behalf as express shipping deliver to the address and not necessarily to the named person.
